| This album was originally released "wrapped" in a Christmas paper envelope, with a yellow sticker listing the contents of the album on the cellophane shrink wrap. Metromedia released the album "already gift-wrapped" in a plain white sleeve with holly on it. Then they shrink-wrapped it with a one-color (green on yellow!) identifier, so you couldn't see the actual album cover until you purchased it and removed the shrinkwrap and the gift-wrap sleeve. Many retailers realized they couldn't display it in that condition and removed the outer wrappings to display the real cover. |
