Bobby Mentions on TV Shows
Reference to Bobby has been included in many TV Series. Here are a few that I have caught:

Grace Under Fire"

......Hey  honey, whatcha reading? Teen Beat?  I haven"t read that since  "Here Come The Brides" was on, cause Bobby Sherman was my man.

"Dick, The Movie"

by Chuck Walton, Hollywood.com
Wednesday August 4, 1999
Guess who Deep Throat really was? In director/co-writer Andrew Fleming's sly little satire, the party responsible for Dick Nixon's downfall turns out to be two Bobby Sherman-obsessed teenyboppers. At the end of the 20th century, it's only fitting to have a good-natured guffaw at this feature-length set-up.

"Dick" is a smart, hilarious movie that's equal parts "All The President's Men" and "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure." Arlene Lorenzo (Michelle Williams) and Betsy Jobs (Kirsten Dunst) are a couple of ditsy 15 year-olds who happen to be nonchalantly composing a fan letter to Sherman on the night of the Watergate break-in.

The Nanny-CBS

Episode 1.3: My Fair Nanny
The actual exchange goes like this. Fran is talking to Maggie trying to teach her how to become more popular with a group of girls.

Maggie: How do I inifiltrate? (the clique)
Fran: Choose from the three universal topics: Boys, clothes, and Bobby Sherman.
Maggie: Who?
Fran: Okay, Markie Mark, but he doesn't have half the talent of Bobby.

Then the scene shifts and it is a couple of hours later. Maggie is talking on the phone and Fran is showing Gracie a picture in a magazine.

Fran: That's Bobby Sherman.
Grace: What's that?
Fran: His hair. Isn't he cute?
Grace: He's not really my type. I'm torn between Barney and Ted Koppel.
Fran: Yeah, but Bobby could sing, you should hear his records.
Grace: What's a record?
Fran: Oy, just bury me.

Barb's Nanny Page has made referrence to this episode.

The Simpsons Mention#1

"Lisa The Tree Hugger"

Lisa falls in love with a teen environmentalist and tries to keep a tree from getting cut down by living in it.

Marge: Oh no!  My baby's up there! Lisa:  It's okay, Mom!  [holds up rope] I have a safety line!
Homer: [to Jesse:] This is your fault, with your non-threatening Bobby-Sherman-style good looks!  No girl could resist your charms!
Jesse: This was her choice, Mr. Simpson.
Homer: I'm sorry, I wasn't listening.  I was lost in your eyes.

The Simpsons Mention#2

"Brother From The Same Planet"
TV Guide synopsis:
Homer's neglect sends Bart looking for a new father, and Homer responds in kind. Meanwhile, Lisa battles addiction to a 900 number for a ``Beverly Hills, 90210'' [sic] star.

Marge finds a $378.53 bill among the payables.
Marge: Homer, do you have an explanation for this bill?
Homer: Oh, it's that record club. The first nine were only a penny. Then they jacked up the price!
[breaks down crying] It's not fair! It's not fair, I tells ya!
-- ``Brother from the Same Planet''

But the bill is a phone bill. Somebody's been making calls to the Corey hot-line. Lisa quickly hides in her room, the entrance to which is decorated by a Corey poster. Marge has a talking-to with Lisa.

Marge: Why didn't you ask our permission, Lisa?
Lisa: I did!
[begin flashback. Homer watches television, Lisa stands in front.]
Lisa: Dad, can I... Homer: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
-- A wink is as good as a nod.

Marge understands Lisa's plight. She explains that when she was a girl, she had a crush on Bobby Sherman.

Lisa laughs uproariously.
Marge tells Lisa to stop making the calls, and Lisa carefully says,
``I promise you'll never be billed for another call.''

Lisa then continues to laugh at the thought of Bobby Sherman.

"The Odd Couple"

Episode #59- "The Odd Father"

Felix's daughter was visiting for the weekend, and all she wanted to do was watch television. Then Felix was complaining to Oscar, and he said something like, "My daughter likes Bobby Sherman better than me."

But the web master at the Odd Couple site said that she thought it was David Cassidy that was actually mentioned!

Here is the actual episode that mentioned Bobby's name:

Episode 18

"Bunny is Missing Down by the Lake."

Bunny, a young girl, says to Felix: "Felix, I think you're a great actor...better than Bobby Sherman."

Any one have any others? It has to be a dialog mention, not a guest appearence such as "Frasier"
